1972 PLYMOUTH ROAD RUNNER GTX

This is an incredible example of one of the last true muscle cars. It has the 440ci V-8 with a 4-speed manual transmission. Of the 6,831 Road Runners sold in 1972 only 672 had the 440ci engine and of those only 219 had a 4-speed manual transmission, making this an extremely rare car. It has only 66,571 original miles. The options include pistol grip shifter, air grabber hood, console, radiator coolant recovery system and a Dana 60 3.54 rear end. It is finished in its original color of Sherwood Green with Gold Strobe stripes and Deluxe Green vinyl interior. When purchased by the previous owner, the original block was shot so it was replaced with a factory replacement block date coded September 15, 1971. The actual build date for this car was March 17, 1972. It had a complete restoration in 1992 and was meticulously done. It runs and drives extremely well and everything operates properly including the air grabber hood.
